Monaghan Mushrooms

The project comprised the construction of ten bunkers for compost manufacture together with three material and filling halls and a large external yard. The contract was predominantly all concrete works both in-situ and pre-cast, with Sika Sarnafil roof covering to the bunkers and a Baril paint coated structural steel frame. Material and filling halls featured impregnated glulam beams with Tegral cladding.

Project Details

The nature of the building required the concrete works to be completed to an extremely high level of finish. Very high temperatures are reached in the manufacturing process, so the bunkers had to be virtually crack free.

Elliott Group delivered the project on time, and to the demanding specification requirements. It demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver high-quality industrial projects to exacting standards to fast-track programmes.
