John Player Manufacturing Plant,
Parkwest, Dublin.

The project consisted of 11,200 m2 of highly serviced manufacturing, storage, administrative offices and site development works for the tobacco Company John Player. The project was developer led by Harcourt Development whom had signed an extensive development agreement with John Player. This included the delivery of the facility within a 7 month period from commencement on site.

Project Details

In order to achieve the quality and programme requirements we ensured that we procured all of the specialist supply chain members prior to commencing on site (Steel, cladding and Roofing, mechanical and Electrical). Extensive design coordination meetings were held with the specialist supply chain members and the design team to ensure that all of the design was agreed prior to commencement. Once all of these design packages were agreed; the materials were manufactured and were ready for installation. This ensured zero lead time for all packages.

Our Team project management and coordination of the works ensured that the building was handed over within the project budget and received extensive acknowledgment from both John Player and Harcourt Development for both quality and programme. An endorsement of this was borne out by the fact that Harcourt Developments awarded us with a very large residential project as a result of our performance on the John Player building.
