Croke Park Flood Lights, Dublin.
Croke Park is a modern 82,500 capacity sports stadium with the highest standard of playing facilities and spectator comfort. This project involved a huge Health and Safety element as all works were on the stadium roof. Additional structural steel, latchway systems and walkways were installed for the flood lighting maintenance.
Project Details
This project commenced in October 2006 and needed to be complete by January 2007 for the first ‘floodlight’ game. The restrictions imposed by weather conditions (wind) and short working days were successfully overcome and the project delivered on schedule by the Elliott Group staff.
