Castle Oak Manor, Nenagh, Tipperary.
The Castleoak Residential Development is an exclusive residential development located off the popular Dark Road on the edge of Nenagh Town. The scheme consists of 438 houses, 32 apartments, a crèche and a neighbourhood centre.
The scheme has been imaginatively designed by HKR Architects with nine distinct house types ranging in size from 888 square feet to 2,814 square feet. The house types have been designed to cater for all types of owner occupiers, namely first time buyers, upgrading purchasers and purchasers downsizing. The design layout of the development incorporates elements of the revised Essex Guidelines which cultivates community living in small courtyard own-door developments as compared to long linear terraced streetscapes.
The houses are all timber-framed with external stone and colored render finishes, and pvc woodgrain windows. The construction is to the highest standard and the houses and apartments provide the highest level of insulation, exceeding Building regulation requirements. Internal features include fully-fitted kitchens with granite worktops, electric appliances, cobblelock paving to all paths/patios and driveways, tiled kitchens and bathrooms, painted walls, joinery and ceilings.
The showhouses were completed in mid September 2013 in preparation for the sales and marketing launch. This project is the first example of Elliott Group’s ability in the South West Region to finance, resource, design and build a modern high quality residential development in an urban setting.
