Priors Gate, Pedestrian Bridge, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Priors Gate is a landmark Section 23 apartment and retail development in Tallaght. The scheme is arranged in three blocks around a rotunda public space over a basement car park and comprises 198 no. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and 8 no. retail units. It includes a pharmacy, convenience store, banking facilities and an on-site crèche for family convenience.
Additional works included the excavation, piling and construction of the basement adjacent to the N81, construction of internal distribution roads, associated drainage and services. A new junction was also constructed on the N81 to facilitate access to the development. Elliott Group staff expertly managed the construction of this not just the Civils element but the entire project, successfully overcoming the traffic management and logistical challenges on a busy junction in West Dublin.
